Workshop tours
From time to time we arrange for a workshop tour somewhere in the Bay area. These are usually on a Saturday and cover a wide range activities from a
members home workshop to Professional woodworking facilities or a non-profit working on restoration projects.
In recent times we have visited a local lumber mills, seen historic boat restoration, wooden pipe organ manufacturing factory and various workshops where
local woodworkers do skilled work such as creating spiral staircases to Japanese styled constructions.
These visits give members a broad view into local woodworking activities.
