This Month's Meeting

December 13th (2nd Thursday)

7:00 pm

Holiday Dinner and Gift Exchange

The only Technical Presentation will be the "Art of Eating." Robbie and Connie have concocted a delectable array of holiday foods which will include but not limited to turkey, ham, potatoes, vegetable, gravy salads, Lindacake and other goodies. In case you never heard of Lindacake, it is a cake or cakes constructed and baked by our own President, Linda. She used to be in the business before she decided that woodworking was her forte.

There will also be a gift exchange for anyone that wants to participate. You can bring a wrapped gift for yourself and any other person in your party. Hopefully, it is something you made or you can buy something related to woodworking. No joke gifts please. Limit the cost of the gift to $10.

Once the gift exchange starts, names will be called. You will be able to present your gift and get one in exchange. You will unwrap your gift. The next persons will exchange gifts. Now this person will be able to keep his gift or take someone else's already unwrapped gift. Of course, the person who lost their gift will then get a chance for another one. There will be a Supreme Court Justice on hand to handle complaints or there is a boxing ring next door.

By the way, you don't have to participate in the gift exchange.

At 7 PM, we will have a chance to help set up the room. Then there will be socializing followed by dinner and the gift exchange. This is a good way to get to know some of your fellow woodworkers. You might even get a woodworking tip or two.

So...I will see you there. It should be loads of fun.
