Artisans Welcome Volunteers For a Hands-on Experience
The art form of traditional 13th-century Japanese joinery is rarely done in the world today. Knowledge of this art is usually passed on from one master to the next generation master. Kaua'i is fortunate that master artisans from Asia have opened their hearts for volunteers to be side by side with them in assembling the Hall of Compassion in Lawai.
Carpentry experience is required.
